Celery Juice Recipe - Plain Version

The Plain Celery Juice Recipe is an easy-to-make elixir with a wide range of positive health effects. This simple juice requires only one ingredient: fresh celery stalks, which are also the only source of the juice's many healthful nutrients. It's a good option for weight loss because the dietary fiber helps you feel fuller for longer and the natural diuretic characteristics help with water retention.

Equipment

  • Juicer or Blender
  • Fine-mesh strainer (optional, if you prefer a smoother consistency)

Ingredients

  • 6-8 celery stalks
  • 1 cup of water
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  • Wash the celery stalks thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or debris.
  • Cut off the ends of the celery stalks and chop them into smaller pieces for easier juicing.
  • Place the chopped celery into a juicer/blender.
  • Turn on the juicer and start juicing the celery.
  • If the juicer has difficulty extracting the juice from the celery, you can add a little water to help the process.
  • Once all the celery is juiced, you can strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer if you prefer a smoother consistency. Alternatively, you can keep the fiber in for added nutritional benefits.
  • If desired, pour the freshly made celery juice over a glass filled with ice cubes for a refreshing and chilled drink.
  • Serve the plain celery juice immediately to enjoy its maximum nutritional value.
